Picking up

It's been 2 weeks since we got word that we were actually leaving for Russia. It's been almost 2 weeks since the decision to stop the Russian adoption with our agency. I'm hooked on blogging and didn't feel right leaving at post on the Journey to Natalie site. Yes, we are still on that journey but right now we don't know which way the road is heading. I'm leaving the site now (www.youbelong.net/thewestfamily) since I just paid for a year and who knows, I might be using it again.

I have to say that the last 2 weeks have been great and very interesting. Robert and I have had so many wonderful conversations the last 2 weeks and I realized that I missed that about our relationship. Our relationship for many years was just talking on the phone and getting to know each other. Our 3 year anniversary is coming up on 3/20 and I'm so blessed to be married to him. I can't imagine going through life without him as my partner. Last week we started looking for a bigger home. We had eventually wanted to do this after the adoption. We just started casually looking and found one that we are both in love with. We are meeting again with the family tomorrow to get the process going and are very excited!

I'll be using this blog just to journal about our life. I'm addicted and it's really great therapy for me. Thanks for stopping by my new blog!
